Boys... Boys... Boys!

There is never a dull moment when you are watching 4 darling little boys! I had them over for the weekend, since Ryan and Eva were visiting Washington D.C. for the Chick-fil-a conference. Sheldon came along to play with the younger boys and help out! I did get a little glimpse into how potty training will be, and am glad I have a while before I need to do that! We had tons of fun together playing the Wii, taking pics, playing bean bags, and painting wooden snakes.

Monkey'n Around

Corey has an amazing and very talented Gramma. Her name is Gramma Jewel and she is the best knitter on the planet. Julie flew out to Utah right after Corey was born to help with the cooking, cleaning, and of coarse snuggling. One of the days she was here, we took an adventure to the Utah farmer's market. This was Corey's first outing at 5 days old. At the market Julie found a fabulous little shop that sold all kinds of "real wool" yarn, no fake stuff allowed in her projects :) With this yarn, she transformed this darling little sock monkey for Corey. It is my favorite thing he has ever received and I am sure when he can talk he will agree. So, I wanted to share my little monkey, with his little monkey!!!

New Year!

Being the mother of a little baby certainly plays a role in New Years Eve. Needless to say I had to have Art wake me back up at 11:47 pm to get in a New Year's toast and a New Year's kiss. Art toasted to a healthy father-in-law and to no kids in 2010...for us that is!!

Smiles with the tears

Teething has brought many tears, but the smiles this little guy gives makes up for the grumpy times! After 3 days of grumpiness in Phoenix, Art and I made a quick trip to Target and got this little toy for Corey to play with. He LOVES it! He sat in it for an hour this morning, happy as a little clam.

2009 Recap

It was a year ago this Christmas Eve that Art and I found out that we were expecting a sweet little addition to our Family! How a year flies! Little, ok not so little anymore, Corey Maximillian Tarsha is now 4 months old. He is in the 95th percentile with weight at 17 lbs. 12 oz. He is smiling a lot, tries to talk, and is even getting his bottom 2 teeth. Being a Mother has brought me so much joy! 2009 has filled my heart with gratitude. I feel so lucky to have all the blessings I have received. I have a beautiful little boy and a wonderful husband. We almost lost my Dad this July, and with many prayers and a HUGE miracle he was able to stick around and is an AWESOME Grandpa to Corey! Anyone who sees
our little monkey says "oh my gosh, he looks just like George!" Need I say more?

I enjoy reading my sister's blogs so much, I decided that I needed to jump on this band-wagon. Here is a quick recap of 2009
